A few interesting points about this film, it’s directed by a chick named Maïwenn, she thinks just the one word is enough now, good for her. She acts in the film too, I think she’s the photographer, she also played the enthusiastic blue diva chick in Luc Besson’s The Fifth Element.

Is there a connection between the content of this film and the fact that she had a kid to a 35 year old Luc Besson when she was 16? Apparently he met her when she was 12 and was the inspiration for Leon. I’d like to know more about the story but can’t seem to find much online.
